Question Prophecies PermaPre Elementalist Help

Hey guys. I'm new here and I need some help. I'm building a permanent pre-searing elementalist for Prophecies and I need some ideas or builds of any kind.

Any idea on which 2nd profession is best for Elementalist?

Thanks in advance.

Presearing.com Has your answers....

But to offer some help right now.

Dont accept quest rewards, just take the quest to get the skills, then abandon it. you can start some of the secondary prof quests to get some skills, for Ele, i suggest you talk to Master Ranger Nente to get the charm animal skills...you get a pet and troll ungent, so a tank and HP regen.

Mesmers are good for later on eles.

There are no real "builds" in pre-searing as there is a very limited number of skills available. It's really up to you as to what secondary you should choose. If you'd like the pet to tank and a self heal in trolls, then take /R. /W wouldnt be the best choice due to Heal sig being the only useful skill (and -armor = dead squishy ele). /Me is a good choice, as would be /Mo or /N.

.

I would ( have) go Monk. Not so much for healing as protection prayers.
Reversal of damage is VERY helpful and spamable. Think of it as a heal that blocks damage. Shielding hands helps a bunch to.

The other Monk skills to carry are the Bane signet...some damage and when used properly, damage mitigation, and Symbol of wrath for ok damage on the cheap. Add Orison which is a bit weak but also needed.

The only Ele spells needed are flare, firestorm and Aura of Restoration.

Always use terrain if availale to block projectiles ( wands, bows)

Just wondering, but is it possible to get Reversal of Damage in Pre?

Also, wouldn't using a wall to block projectiles also block flare, or is there some special property about Flare's arc that allows it to hit?

Yeah, the wall will block flare. But you have fire storm to hit them with
My monk tends to kill her charrs with Firestorm, bane sig, and banish (everything else is heals)
I don't recall which skills you get for ele in pre, but i'm sure there are at least 2 or 3 non-line-of-sight damage skills.

Nope. I think they meant Reversal of Fortune.
